Control your printing – GlassPro SQL’s powerful print management program handles the production of all your documents including quotations, order acknowledgements, pro-forma invoices, works orders, job cards, glass labels, delivery notes, invoices and credit notes. You can program default printers, input and output paper trays and the numbers of copies to print for each document type for every user. The users can override the setting if they need to and multiple settings can be stored for different printers to be used if there is a breakdown.
Documents can be emailed directly from the system in pdf, html or Microsoft Word format using the customer’s email address which is stored on individual orders, or against the delivery address on an order. Invoices can be bulk emailed (all the invoices for a customer are added to a single multi-page pdf) to an accounts department email address stored on the customer’s account record.
Copies of every document produced are automatically archived at the same time as they are printed in an individual pdf format, and are saved in folders by document type and month by order or invoice number – there is no need to print a copy invoice!
Fuss free formatting – we use the industry standard SAP Crystal Report Writer to create your print formats, and you can design or change them yourselves with a copy of Crystal Reports. Crystal’s powerful design tools handle everything – font styles, sizes positioning and orientation. Bold, underlined and reversed text and colour highlighting. These features can be activated to meet conditions using formulae created in Crystal, for example to highlight a particular glass or spacer type, delivery route and so forth. Watermarks can underlay text, bar codes, company logos (both yours and your customers own), certification marks, shape cutting drawings and much more.
Control your document storage – GlassPro SQL integrates our own document archiving program, allowing you to print labels for, scan and store the customer’s original order, Georgian bar and leaded layout details, drilling and processing information, your completed works orders with the notes from the shop floor, the delivery note signed by the customer and fitters worksheets with installation notes and the customer’s satisfaction signature.
A powerful SQL Server database stores all of this document information linked back to the original orders on your GlassPro SQL system for easy tracking and identification. Look up an order in GlassPro and display all of the documents on screen – print out a proof of delivery for those slippery customers!
